Brewer’s Spent Grains
We understand that spent grains can be a real hassle, which is why our goal is to make your mashing out process as pain free as possible. We'll start by providing you with our own containers (don't worry, they can handle the weight and temperature). Once filled, we'll wrangle those bins off site and swap them out for freshly rinsed, empty containers. Leave the spent grains to us, so you can focus on doing what you do best - Brewing Beer!
Animal Feed
Whenever possible, we work with a local farmer, Blackberry Meadows, to make sure that your spent grains get a second life feeding their hungry pigs. Protein, fiber and some leftover sugars are always welcome at the pig pen.
Compost
When animal feed is not an option due to age of the grain or logistical constraints, we send this high nitrogen material to compost and eliminate its methane potential from the landfill.
